Market place of ideas

Three MAU mavens sent this in recently:
We wanted to remind our neighbors that in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the season there are simple things we can all do to take action and make a difference in the lives of children. We decorated a tree with homemade ornaments containing messages with ideas: gift Fair Trade items, or donate hats/mittens/scarves, sign up for alternative energy, gift a goat through Heifer International … and so on. The local market is a touchstone in our small community and provides us with a unique opportunity to reach a lot of people with inspiring ideas for the holidays. – Michelle, Kathy & Linda
